PAV Program

At PosAbilities Academy, we believe all children are capable of making progress when provided with an appropriate and individualized education plan.

 We will work with the student and family to determine the most appropriate educational track based on this assessment.

Students work in small groups (1:3 or 1:4) 

and use Evidence-Based Direct Instruction Curriculums to meet their academic goals.

PosAbilities Academy Vocational (PAV) Vocational Step program is a comprehensive program that includes classroom work, Hands-on Training and internships. The PAV Step Program prepares students for gainful employment. 

The PAV Vocational Step program requires a multi-year commitment.  Students must enroll in the program and take all courses within all sequences as well as complete the Hands-on practicums and a full semester internship. Upon completion of all requirements, students will receive the  PAV Step Program Certificate of Competence

Students will have access to additional training opportunities through a variety of vocational electives to include computer skills, Keyboarding and writing. Vocational elective can be taken as stand-alone courses. 

 Students can sign up for Independent Living Skills elective classes to help them acquire independent living skills. 

 PosAbilities believes in providing access to artistic creativity while developing through exploration of arts. PosAbilities offers Music and Visual Arts courses.
