We focus on providing individualized programs for students in grades 9th through 12th with a documented disability. We provide a multi-layer approach to learning by incorporating functional academic instruction, hands-on vocational training, and evidence-based curriculums; all focused on preparing students for gainful employment upon graduation. PosAbilities Academy takes a unique and innovative approach to teaching that helps students connect with a career of their choice focusing on the students’ abilities and not disabilities.
"Excellence in education is when we do everything we can to make sure they become everything they can."
–Carol Ann Tomlinson
At PosAbilities Academy, we understand that individuals learn differently. That is why each semester we work with students and families
to determine what classes, schedule, and related services will help
each student reach his or her goals.
PosAbilities Academy addresses not just academic goals, but also the vocational path each student chooses. We make the principles of
Applied Behavior Analysis a cornerstone of our educational approach
to implementing each student's Individualized Plan.
Our multi-layer approach to education includes Functional Academics, Vocational Training, Applied Behavior Analysis and ABA based Instruction.
We invite you to visit us and meet our staff, observe our school program in action, and have your questions answered. Our recurring open houses are for parents and students ages 14 to 22, with a documented disability, who are looking for an educational alternative that includes functional academics, vocational training, ABA based curriculums and an open-door policy!
